How We Use Them

Our use of such technologies is very limited and focused on functionality, not tracking:

• Cloudflare Cookies: Cloudflare may place a strictly necessary cookie (e.g., __cflb, __cf_bm) to manage network traffic and provide security features. These are essential for the website to function correctly.
• Browser Storage for Service Data: We use your browser's LocalStorage to store UTM attribution data for up to 30 days, roadmap draft state, and roadmap identifiers. We use SessionStorage for your chat user identity, chat session identifier, and roadmap user identity during the current browser tab session. This is necessary for the functionality of our chat and roadmap features.
• Google Ads Conversion Tracking: We use Google Ads conversion tracking cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies track when you click on our ads and complete certain actions on our website. You can opt out via Google Ads Settings.

Chat Support SessionStorage

Our chat support widget stores your name, email address, and chat session identifier in your browser's SessionStorage under the key planfold_chat_user when you provide them. This allows you to use chat without re-entering your information during the same browser tab session. A cookie named planfold_chat_gate is also set for session routing. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers until you actively submit a message.

Roadmap Browser Storage

The roadmap generator stores your wizard answers under planfold_roadmap_state and your roadmap ID under planfold_roadmap_id in your browser's LocalStorage. It stores your name/email under planfold_roadmap_user in SessionStorage for the current browser tab session. A planfold_verified_session cookie is set when you verify your email. This data is stored only on your device and is transmitted to our servers only when you explicitly submit a roadmap request, load a history item, or verify your session.

Managing Your Data

You can view and delete data stored by our website in your browser's settings. Please consult your browser's help documentation for instructions on how to manage cookies and site data.
